Office 365 promises more productivity through the new way of team collaboration and Office 365 SharePoint. A number of studies on enterprise social networks have shown that employees can increase their productivity (“role specific tasks”) by 25% with enterprise social networks and intranets, such as Microsoft Office 365, if these social networks are used properly. This is especially achievable with Microsoft Teams. In theory this is true, but many rollouts fail and get stuck in the first stage of migrating data from servers to the cloud and setting up the intranet. The desired return-on-investment does not occur or occurs much later than expected.
