Jive Leverages SmarterPath for Three Different Use Cases
Jive Partnership
Jive and Pokeshot have a long-standing relationship. As both a technology and consulting services provider, and a multi-year sponsor of the annual JiveWorld conference, Pokeshot is the go-to professional services partner in Europe. Jive has also recognized SmarterPath as an award-winning solution and it is one of only a few partner products that is Jive-certified.
Use Cases
Jive is one of the early adopters of SmarterPath, utilizing the social learning add-on in the JiveWorks user community for several key stakeholders’ use cases. They are: developer training, partner enablement and community onboarding. The JiveWorks community is the one environment where current and prospective customers from all over the world interact with one another and with the Jive team. Put simply, JiveWorks is a mission-critical community.
Use Case: Developer Training
SmarterPath and Jive enable a well-matched set of interactions that can make for effective learning. According to Ryan Rutan, Director of Developer Evangelism & Partner Innovation at Jive, “There’s been a resounding growth in the demand for [a] LMS, the ability to blend the social collaboration that Jive brings along with the ability for structured learning.”
Use Case: partner enablement
Under the leadership of Cheryl Bisram, the new Director of Sales & Partner Enablement, the use of SmarterPath was expanded to help prepare the partner network to sell Jive. These courses demonstrate how social learning can enable users to apply what they are learning. Cheryl summarizes this grounded, practical part of what SmarterPath and Jive provide in her interview with us.
Use Case: Community Onboarding
Working within a social business environment is a combination of functional know-how and commmunity management saavy. In other words, helping users get acclimated to both Jive’s tools and the “style” of a community in JiveWorks is key to helping ensure a successful launch and sustained adoption.
